High Protein

Okay, so I'm under my calorie goal in a healthy way, below carbs and below fat but 28 over my protein (I didn't know my smoothie i bought had so much in it today). Is that still okay? Is that real bad?

    it is ok to be over in protein. I am working out lots & have doubled my protein intake.
    Eating more protein will help you build muscle faster & muscle burns more calories than fat....

    Your body does need certain percentage of each fat, protein & carbs, it works best if you give it the correct amounts of each.

    I am eating very high fibre, high protein & then trying to eat mostly complex carbs....

    This has always worked for me in the past and so far so good.

    MFP tends to be alittle low with their protein allowance. Don't worry unless you're WAY, WAY over. I was always anywhere from 8 to 30 over, and still managed to lose most of the weight that I wanted to. :wink: :smile:
