The less you buy the better off you'll be.

    My staples are

    Milk
    Bread
    Cheese
    Baked Beans
Tinned Tuna (I am thinking about cutting this one)
Dry soup packets (they are low cal and yummy)

I NEVER buy junk food. Absolutely NEVER. But we eat out a lot, which makes life hard, our food at home is sooo boring and always the SAME so overeating is really impossible.

I was raised this way and have been 'thin' all my life (never been overweight), my family of origin are all skinnies as well.

Interesting. I think you should be able to enjoy food, people just need to re-learn to enjoy being active aswell.
