my menu plan got all messed up this week and the meal we were going to have tomorrow, we had earlier this week. i am trying to plan my day tomorrow and i am stumped. i'd love some suggestions if you have any.
i am having banana bread with butter and milk for breakfast, and taco soup with cheese and baby carrots for lunch. cauliflower with cheese sauce is the only thing i know for sure we are having for supper because my boys wanted it tonight and i said 'no'. gotta keep the twerples happy. lol.
here's where it gets tricky. i need a main dish for tomorrow night that is high in carbs (117), has little to no protein (-18), and is around 269 calories. right now, i can't think of anything appetizing so please throw something at me and see if it sticks. thanks in advance for any ideas!

I say skip the cauliflower with cheese sauce and make homemade pizza. Everyone can make their own. Add tons of veggies to yours.0

pizza would normally be a great idea, but we ended up having pizza earlier this week. anyone else have something for me?0

I'd also skip the cauliflower and cheese.
I'd make some chicken breasts with a salad.
or if you don't want salad, chicken, baked potato.. and a veggie of your choice.0 -
thanks for the help! it ended up working out pretty well.
getting rid of the cauliflower in cheese sauce wasn't really an option, so i had to get creative. it is only 45 calories per cup and really tasty (i had one and a half). i settled on a 'tokyo joe'-type meal instead with brown rice and zucchini, summer squash, yellow peppers and onions. instead of a teriyaki sauce, i use salsa and cayenne pepper. added in some cucumbers for crunch and a golden delicious apple. nom!
with my bonus from exercise, i had 67 carbs left, but -20 protein. *sigh* the taco soup, while scrumptious, was too high in protein. i need to figure out a less-protein-dense method for making it. i hate to skimp on the amount of meat, so maybe using turkey or chicken will work better next time. or messing around with my bean mixture.
thanks again!
