Chicken and potato to chicken and veg (essentially lower GI)

Do weights and eat right - don't put on any fat. Bit flabby looking either cos still got too much fat or being 100+lb over weight in past has stretched me out

Have changed my diet from poor but within calories to a lot of chicken and potato or pasta - within calories

I cant shift the last bit of fat/ tone whatever , been trying for aaages , annoys me so much I've even occasionally thought of packing in weights - whats the point if you cant see the results

Anyway - thinking of changing chicken and potato to chicken and veg ( broccoli etc. )

Anyone think this is likely to fix my specific issue or had experience of doing it
