Running Advice?

Hey folks! Running question. I need to prep for a 5 mile race that's mostly uphill, sometimes I work too late to run outside. Is it safe to run on and incline on the treadmill?

Suggestions are very much appreciated please.

    There are some really good training programmes for treadmill running in preparation for a race. Try Womens Running (magazine and website) as they published one quite recently. Try and get some outdoor running done also - just to break up the monotony of the 'dreadmill'.

    Yes, I would also use a stair climber and have it on high resistance.
