(female question) water weight?

i would like to know if anyone has any good ideas on how to limit water gain when on your cycle? i have been yo-yoing around the same 9 pd zone. im drinking 8-14 glasses of h2o a day to maintain system flushing/ hydration, but once i lose the monthly add on it starts all over. any ideas please i already try to limit the salt.

    I drink absolutely no caffeine during this time (I usually have a cup of coffee in the morning) and I eat more berries (2 cups instead of one a day) that has helped me not be at a stand still .Hope that helps ^u^

    Thanks. what would berries have to do with water weight, and what kind of berries?

    i didnt want to have to take diuretics so my past cycle i drank green tea! it flushed that water right out of me, now i drink it semi regularly.. hate the caffeine though

    edit: for comparison... the cycle before last (when i didnt drink green tea) i gained 7 lbs water weight!
    this cycle i gained 5 but on the first day it went down to only 2 over (usually takes me a good week to get rid of it w/o green tea)
