Omg. SO I am a college student and I was home on spring break and i went to the gym while i was home, but i let myself eat what i wanted. I just calculated it and today i had almost 3500 calories. Now I am so afraid that I wont be able to get back into a healthy mindset...

  • Hey, hey-
Don't get too frustrated... its hard being a college kid. We're always running around and not getting the time to do as much as we'd like (not that it gets better after college haha) but still, don't be too hard on yourself... you were on vacation! which is clearly not included in your regular college routine... just try and get back in the swing of things with school and your usual exercise and eating habits. No one follows their routine perfectly when they are on vacation- so just think of it like that! My spring break is coming up in couple weeks and I know my bf is coming out here, so im sure my routine and habits will take a break too!

Good luck though! You can do it!

LOL - not laughing at you, but with you. I eat like that every week at least once. Start again. You haven't ruined everything, and you enjoyed your homecoming.

You have only failed if you quit. Say "I love you" to yourself and don't give up. You can do this!

I agree you only failed if you quit. Get back on track and just know you might have days like that. You will feel better and the pounds will come off. That is what this site isall about, keeping track so one does not loose control.

  • If you were perfect 100% of the time you would be a fanatic. Nobody likes a fanatic! You endulged and now it is time to say, that was ok but not for a daily way of living. Just remember how good it feels to have healthy/clean food in your system and the right amounts. I bet you don't physically feel the same eating the way you did. think of how good you feel about yourself taking care of the only body you will ever have. You are not naughty...you are human. Make the choice to do right by your body.

    Hugs!
