Hi,

I am a 24 year old, 5'3 female who currently weighs around 145 lbs. I have never been active and used to have a very high metabolism. I started college at about 115 pounds, graduated close to 130, and since I began dating my fiancé a year and a half ago, went up to 150.

I have started taking a Sparta class twice a week, although I do it during my lunch break and due to the nature of my job can only make it to one of the two classes offered. I also try to do Zumba when possible. I tried a cycling class and hated it. When I don't make it to a class, I try to still hit up the gym with a coworker for lifting. I met with a personal trainer who gave us exercises to do. I also will work out in my basement with DVD's (P90X, P90X 10 minute trainer, Denise Austin) or do some workouts I saw on Pinterest.

I've recently started really reading up on diet and am trying to learn the best way to eat for my body. I find it hard to consider myself "active" since I have never been active in my entire life. I also am very used to eating whatever I want. I love pizza, ice cream, and potatoes. But I also love being able to look good wearing whatever I have in my closet. This is what I keep reminding myself.

My 2013 New Year’s Resolution is to run a 5k every month. Right now I can't yet run a full mile without stopping (although I do run on a hilly route). I am starting the couch to 5k and hope to run 6 out of the 7 days a week.

My ultimate goal is to be 120ish by my wedding on September 21st, 2013.

Anyways, I am looking for support from fellow 'pals' and look forward to gaining support as well as supporting you!
