Does it work underground in subways or in parking garages? (does it need constant GPS reception to work?)

    The Fitbit doesn't use GPS, just your body movements. It will work fine in subways and parking garages.

    as long as you are walking/running, or doing similar movements, it works. it holds the info for up to 7 days, then syncs when it gets within 15 feet of the transmitter.

    Right after I got mine, I went away for 3 days..when I got back, it sync'd all the data from all the days I was gone!
