WHAT ARE YOUR GUYS' FAOVRITE WORKOUTS?!?! WHETHER THEY ARE BIG OR SMALL, LONG OR SHORT! SHARE WITH US WHAT WORKS FOR YOU!


PERSONALLY, I HAVE BEEN GETTING INTO BIKRAM YOGA. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE UNFAMILIAR IS IS BASICALLY DOING 90 MIN. OF YOGA IN A 90+ DEGREE ROOM! VERY RELAZING, VERY SOOTHING, HELPES TO CLEAR YOUR MIND AND FEEL GREAT! I LOVE TO TART MY DAY WITH THAT!


IF I DONT DO BIKRAM I WILL USUALLY WALK UPHILL ON THE TREDMILL AT A PACE OF ABOUT 4.3 FOR 35 MINUTES, AND I WILL LIFT A LITTLE!

WHAT DO YOU GUYS DO..?
I HEAR ZUMBA IS AMAZING! ANY COMMENTS ON THAT?

    I love snowshoeing and cross country skiing - so just patiently waiting for the snow to fall! But I have to admit-- that Bikram Yoga does sound awesome -- I would love a 90 room right now! FREEZING HERE! I have never done yoga, and would like to . . . .
  • i would most def. suggest you try it out one day if you have a studio in your are!! especially with it being so cold!! it is SO theraputic!!

    My favorite activity is yoga - I attend a one hour cardio yoga class 2X per week and a regular 75 min hatha blend class once a week - I also try to get to a one hour cardio barre class 2X per week at the same yoga studio - it's a combination of ballet, pilates and yoga - then..........I try to get to the gym every day for about an hour - elliptical, bike, treadmill and all kinds of machines to keep me toned and I meet with a trainer once a week to keep me on track. But I certainly didn't start out with all that - this has been an evolution over the past 4 hours.......the more I do, the better I feel -
  • I do ballet a few times a week
    And when I dont do that, I like doing workout videos. Currently doing the 30 day shred

  • We bought an elliptical machine, in the years we've had it it's more than paid for itself by not paying to use a gym. The downside is that it's in our basement which is not really child friendly so I can only use it when my son is sleeping or my husband is home and can keep an eye on the little guy. In our living room we have a rebounder (mini trampoline) and I've started using that while I watch tv since I can do that and still watch be with my son, in fact he likes bouncing on it too so then we both get exercise. :O)

    I try to drink as much water as possible add lemon if you can. I prefer to run in the morning. Do weights after ward to really burn that fat. ;) just tips
  • ROBTHROB69- agreed! i love working out in the morning! it really gives me that boost of energy and starts my metabolism going for the day!!! when im in the gym im generally doing cardio first [at least 35 min] then i will life. i switch of dailly working on my legs/butt one day and arms/back then next! i usually do my abs almost daily!!! ihave only been doing this routine for the past 3 weeks tho!


    if i dont do bikram yoga and i am too lazy to get my *kitten* to the gym i will do an insanity video! those always seem to kick my *kitten* pretty good!

    Love love love my Body Pump class with weights and the CXWorx class I do for my core - best workouts I have found by far!

    I usually do 30 minutes on treadmill hill option and 30 minutes elliptical... That's my fave but every week I mix it up with the bike, push ups, sit ups and a lot of housecleaning and snow shoveling. I live in Alaska...........

    My new favorite thing is running along the beachfront in the cool refreshing air. It kills me when I'm doing it because I'm just starting out but I feel like superwoman when the lady in my iPod says workout completed.
    I also drink loads and loads of water 3litres a day which is great for the skin as well as all the other benefits that come with it :)
