ELI5 this one (diet restrictions)
I have a friend. At various times they said they "eat clean" and that they are "vegan". They also have been on any number of trendy diet regimes: cleanse, gluten free, etc. I'm ok with that...not for me, but I understand others have different opinions.
Where I got lost was when the friend told me plans for this weekend included going fishing. When I was puzzled I was told - you *have* to have {some nutrient} at least once a month and fresh caught, wild trout is the best source.
a) anyone else find it odd that Mr/Ms Vegan is going fishing? or am I out of touch on this?
b) any guess on what this mystery nutritional thing might be, and why it is so critical?
