Before and During (pics)

Okay, so I'm doing this pretty slowly. I started July and only have lost 10 lbs, but I fell off the band wagon for about a month. I've been doing 30DS and am midway through it so far. Working out is a struggle for me because I have messed up hips (had surgery, and will be having another) and a messed up SI joint which causes severe pain and sciatica. Some days I can't even get out of bed and my husband has to help me to the bathroom because just moving my head sometimes hurts. I have recently gotten cortisone shots which helped me get back on track, but let me tell you I think I rather go through surgery again than do that (I don't take to anesthetic well, so my surgery was pretty painful :P). And I'd like to think I have a high pain tolerance, since I laughed when I broke my foot and severely sprained my ankle. Anyways, what I'm going through is pretty stressful and drains me a lot not just physically, but emotionally. Being only 19 and feeling like an arthritic 80 year old woman really sucks, especially since I used to be so athletic before; was in soccer and cheer and basketball my whole life, and was also an avid track athlete. So, that being said, I think this journey is going to be a little longer than I'd like. So, I'm pretty proud of what I've accomplished, so far.

Sorry, I only have one picture right now.

Very nice progress! I feel your pain because i had an injury to my back and had to have therapy for it. Sometimes it would lock up and i was scared to even move!! But know it's gone and i feel awesome. I feel like lifting weights helps me be in good health.
BTW i realize your pain is probably worse since you need shots. Take one step at a time friend.

Thanks :). And NOT moving is the worst thing I could do for it, so I take full advantage of it when the shots kick in. lol
