3 seconds

What a difference 3 seconds can make in changing your entire life. For me it was the difference between being involved in a 10 car pile up on the highway and being just an innocent bystander directing traffic. As i was exiting the highway I heard a loud crashing sound behind which made me glance up to the rearview mirror. The car behind me was swerving out of control across all 4 lanes, and using the other cars as bumper pads. Thelast thing i saw before i forced my eyes back onto the road in front of me was him spin around 180 and a blur of red tail lights across a sea of yellow headlights as people slammed on their brakes to avoid him.

Im enjoying my 3 seconds. Are You?

Mine was even shorter. I had gotten out of the car and was going to cut across the street when my husband called me back. I walked over to the open window on the driver's side and we talked a minute. I turned without thinking and just missed getting creamed by a car going much too fast in a residential neighborhood. If I had turned a moment sooner, I'd have been toast.
  • If I am doing it correctly, my entire life is filled with consecutive reps of 3 seconds, each set experienced to the fullest and with every part of my being. ;)
