Any other women working on a PhD in science on here?

Options
I have one friend on here who is working on hers as well and I realized it's nice to have a friend who is going through similar stresses and time commitments as I am. Sooo I thought I'd see if there are any others who might want to be friends :)

A little about me...

I'm a first year PhD student in Bioinformatics, 22, maintaining right now after losing ~20 lbs. For a while I did turbofire, now I lift heavy. First I did NROLFW now I'm doing Stronglifts 5x5. I EAT, I net 1900 calories a day. That is about 100cals / day below my maintenance so that I can keep losing a little fat while I try to build up my muscles.

Anyone else?

Im not exactly a science PhD student but I'm a medical student. I have a lot of stress as well. Preparing for the board is killing me! I tend to binge eat when stressed and have been trying to control it as much as possible. Feel free to add me and we can definetly motivate each other ;)

I finished a MS in microbiology in 2010, and now I am working on my medical degree. I'm in my first year and am here because I don't want regain the 75lbs I lost last year. Breath deep!

Ah great to hear there are more people working on / having completed PhDs on here! It's definitely been different from undergrad and much more trying but I really want to keep up my weight loss results from pre-PhD. Feel free to add me!

lots of really smart people on here. With the neuronal connections going on here, we should be able to motivate each other to do something even more difficult than our dissertation.

Why go for your PHD in Criminal Psychology THEN go to law school? You interested in being 250K in debt just so you can be Dr. JD Esq? You can be your own expert witness? Speaking as an attorney, pick one and go with it.
