What should a female who is 5'7 at 280 take in a day for calories with exercise and days off exercise? I want to lose 2lbs a week

    The site is supposed to do the calculations for you. Go to Settings --> Update Diet/Fitness Profile --> Fill in information --> Done

    Have you set your goals??

    Go to 'My Home' then 'Goals', enter your info and MFP will calculate what your caloric intake should be.

    I think I've said this before but anyways haha, Find a TDEE calculator online and type your numbers in. That should give you a calorie goal to "maintain your weight". I personally put that as my daily calorie goal then I create a deficit from that number. Its just easier to look at my goals at the end of the week and see how much in the green I am.

    A calorie is not just a calorie but....the basic rule is that 1lb of fat is 3500 calories. So, you have to have a deficit of 7000 calories a week to lose 2lbs. I have seen people lose a lot more of a lot less following this depending where they are in their journey.
