Looking for an open water swim buddy in Orange COunty CA

Hi, I try to go swim between 800 yards to a mile in Corona Del Mar twice a week. If there are swimmers out there with similar swim interests pls msge me. I'm not a triathloner nor am I a fast swimmer. Therefore, I am open to partner with any fitness level. Just can't go swim alone any more now that that there are no lifeguards on the beach. Plus it would be more fun and challenging to have company. \m/

I hope you find someone. I might also suggest posting on the bulletin board at your local pool or fitness club or reaching out to local fitness/triathlon groups. I know your not a triathlete but you would definately find a swim partner there.

No open water swimming in WI until May at the earliest. Wish I could join you.

Hey, thanks, Jim! Yeah, I am actually a member of a local Tri Meetup group which meets on Sat Am here. I try to make that one once in a while -- Sat AM are hard because of kid's schedule superseding mine
Am also seriously exploring joining a local Masters pgm to not only improve my performance but also possibly find a swim buddy for ocean swimming. In the meantime, let's see what kind of results the MFP gods might produce:)
