I get on my elliptical everyday, walk everyday, Zumba 3 times a week, and weight lifting 5 days a week. I never take a full rest day as I usually make sure I log 6 miles walked everyday whether it's on the elliptical or actually walking. Seems to be working0

5 or 6 days a week - but I aim for 6
Elliptical is great - you really feel it on your lefs/bum/calves!
But I don't like doing it very much and I get bored, so I mix it up with the treadmill which I loovee!
I don't think there is a rule to have a day off, but it is recommended for muscle recovery and I think its good for metabolism too.
And if you're a regular 'cardio exercise person', you will have a higher metabolism anyway, which means your body burns more in general - so you don't need to stress much on your rest days about not working out.

I try to do some form of cardio 5-6 days a week. This is what was reccommended by my trainer. 45mins- 1 hour. I take one day a week as a rest day .0

I do cardio 5 days a week for like 40 - 60 minutes, sometimes 4 day if I don't have time for some reason. It's nothing terrible if you do it every day tho but I just feel kinda lazy mode at weekends.0

I make it a point to get on my elliptical every day, even on the days I just don't feel up to it. I tell myself to get 15 minutes in and if I want to stop by then, I'll stop. Stopping after 15 doesn't happen very often, but if I do then I don't feel guilt because I've been on it every day of that week.0
