Spaghetti Craving? Try an Alternative!

I love my spaghetti during the fall!
Heres a spaghetti squash recipe that I make atleast once a week that are both low in calories and carbs!

1 spagetti squash
1 large onion
3 cups of a low cal, healthy tomato sauce ( I use Catelli Garden Select garlic and onion sauce)
(add whatever spices you desire)
Pam (cooking spray)

preheat oven to 350

Cut spaghetti squash length ways, take out seeds, and place face down on a lightly oiled cookie sheet. Bake for 30 mins.

After 30 mins take out the spaghetti squash and scrap with a fork to create the spaghetti strings. Combine with onion and sauce over alittle heat in a seperate pan. Serve and enjoy!

1 cup prepared/ served: 146 CAL. (depends on sauce)


This is a very large portion! Also very filling!

    I really want to try this spaghetti squash stuff, but I'm not aware of whether we have it in Australia or if it's maybe called something else... :)
