Hi, I started at 228(HW). Joined MFP at about 220 and I am now 209...so close to one-derland :D

I have always had very sensitive feet(I have plantar psoriasis and eczema) and if I put too much pressure on them, which isn't tough because I am this fat/obese, I get these horribly deep cuts that take days to heal.

Till now, due to my doctor's advice and insistence my only form of exercise is walking. I walk about 2.5-3 km a day and I have lost weight with it, I am not complaining. But I haven't lost that many inches.

But do you guys have any suggestions as to what kind of exercises I can incorporate into my regime so I drop weight/inches faster?

I am hoping that once I hit 190 my feet will be able to take the pressure.

If I had your symptoms, I would follow my doc's advice pretty closely instead of seeking council from Internet randoms. Not sure from your post if your issues are mostly foot related or system wide. If you can strength train symptom free I would add that. Should help with the inches.

I lost most of my initial weight walking, so if walking is the safest activity at least you know it's effective.

Weight loss is far more about what/how much you eat than what you do. Exercise is for fitness. If you have issues with being on your feet you can try exercise bike, weights, swimming, yoga, pilates, or the low impact version of DVD's like 30 day shred. You don't have to run and jump to lose weight.

I would definitely take the doctor's advice on this one. But maybe ask about strength training? Or swimming or bike riding? I wouldn't think either one would put too much pressure on your feet (although the pool chemicals might not be great for your skin).
