Where lost pounds and socks go, just my theory :)

So, now that I have lost 28 pounds, I'm starting to wonder where they go. I realize scientifically that the body uses them for fuel.
But that can't be the whole of it. I mean I lose socks all the time in the washer.
Both of those lost things have to go somewhere, right? The universe isn't just creating a a black hole and sucking in only lost pounds and socks hither and yon selectively in all our houses. Which leaves the question behind the statement of lost pounds and socks, Where are they going?
For me, I believe they are transforming into other more useful tangible things. Before you go thinking I'm crazy, which very well may be, I spend a lot of time alone...think about it for a minute.
Everytime I lose a sock for example I seem to acquire new coat hangers. The fancier the sock, the better the coat hanger.
Plain white ankle socks turn into plain jane plastic hangers. Now trouser socks for slacks turn into wooden hangers I have no use for, Even my husband has questioned where the 2 we have came from. Neither of us buys them, and the kids still can't figure out what hangers are used for at all, so it's out of the question that they would buy them with their allowances. The lost thigh high stocking morphed into a fancy bright orange padded hanger.
Now as for the lost poundage, I beleive my lost poundage is morphing into forks and glassware, specifically stemware.
Over the last 2 months we have gained about a dozen pieces of assorted mismatched wine glasses and forks that do not match our pattern. At first I though perhaps some of our goofy friends had turned into complete alcoholics and were bringing their own glasses to our house and forgetting them here. But not so, it isn't masculine enough for the hubby's group of friends and is way too frou-frou for my group. Plus I asked, none know of it is theirs.
It is possible I have started taking silverware, but I'd like to think I'd remember stealing forks from people, places and restuarants.
So my body could be using the pounds for fuel or they are turning into other things, either way they are gone.
So what do your lost pounds turn into? What do your lost socks become?
