Don't beat yourself up over it!! It happens! Just strive to do better next time! And next time, indulge in those treats, just do it in moderation!!
Whatever you do, don't let this bump in the road discourage you!!0 -
don't worry. we all have this at some point. I spent the weekend with my boyfriend who does not seem to have any issues with eating and getting rid of the excess (without exercising!!!!)
i was so comfortable spending a weekend just the two of us (haven't done this for a little while) that i started cooking non stop tomake him nice little meals. only thing is..i hate them with him!
so today i haven't even tried to get on the scale because i'm sure i'vep ut some weight back on. but today is a new week so just forget about yesterday's mistake and start fresh
There's not much we can do anyway :laugh:0 -
since I've been using this haven't tracked once on the weekend! easy to get into the routine when you're working... but random weekends make it hard! Saying that - I blow it every weekend anyway - so it would probably make me feel worse seeing the calories... or maybe it would give a a kick up the backside and make me do something.
I reckon the weekends are defo my weakness! plus a sneaky few beers in the week!
like hopin2bUSN said - don't beat yourself up - just do better next time - I'm gunna try! haha

If it makes you feel any better I really blew it too. I had cookies for dinner on Saturday...not just a few...but a lot of cookies for dinner. I was bored and lazy and didn't feel like cooking. So it's back to square one for me again today too on sticking with eating healthy. Oh well, we're only human and make mistakes!0

This was a bad weekend for me too!! Pizza with family Fri., then anniversary dinner with hubby Sat., and lunch at my moms yesterday!!! I tried to watch the portions but I still ended up being over all 3 days and I even worked out .:grumble: ...so that's counting my exercise calories!!!! I told my hubby last nite that I can't do that every weekend, I will be defeating the purpose of being so careful all week!!! Good luck to you all!!! Today is a new day!!!0

Thought I was careful too. But still managed to put one and half pound back.... Today is a new day.... Wait we are having a potluck at work... What a mess!!! But I will try mu best to stay away from all the temptation... may be.... i do know tha I will be working out today for sure!!!!!! Good luck to all!!!0

Thanks guys. I did so well last weekend I dont know what got into me.0

Dont feel too bad, I did as well! My husband surprised me by taking me home to see my family this weekend. It involved a singstar night at my swhere an absolutely ridiculous amount of alchohol was consumed. Apparently I refused to eat anything when everyone else was ordering their kebabs and burgers at some silly hour of the night so I suppose my diet was on my concience lol.
Then sunday I had the worst hangover and we went to pizza hut to meet my parents for lunch. So didnt do that well sticking to me calories. I went over by 600 both days :blushing:
But im back on it today and totally focused and which is good normally after a weekend like that I find myself slipping back into old habits. So heres to this week and losing any lbs we may or may not of put on from our naughty weekends :flowerforyou:

Yep! Those Ghirardelli dark chocolate brownies were my pals this weekend. Also, the two bags of kettlecorn, homemade macaroni and cheese, Walpole creamery sweet cream ice cream, and johnny cakes... :blushing: I blame PMS!
But PMS or not, I'm back on track today!0 -
I totally blew it this weekend too...l didn't even log into MFP since Friday lol....
I had company over Sat, then went with my friend and her bridal party looking for dresses...had alcohol, pizza, a panini, and God knows how many M&Ms........................
My problem is social situations...I hate going out with my friends, ordering a garden salad and getting *kitten* from all of my friends saying "Why are you ordering that" "Live a little" "What are you, a friggin rabbit?"
Then I get peer pressured into ordering the cheeseburger!
How do you ladies stick to your guns with friends and family....I know they love me, but can't they leave me and my diet alone lol?0 -
I totally blew it too, everything I've been trying to avoid eating and drinking sneakily worked its way onto my plate and into my glass (with a little encouragement from me).
But, I feel better knowing that I'm not the only one, and that I've managed to get back on track straight away today!0 -
You need to figure out why you ate what you did. Where you upset about something? Celebrating something? Was it a planned indulgence?
If you know you are going out and you may not eat the best, you need to cut back on the rest of your calories in the day and exercise a lot to make room. If you know you will be drinking alcohol, drink a lot of water as well.
Have I been perfect in what I have put in my mouth? Not at all..... but instead of just saying "oh well , today is another day" I try to plan my extras and make the room or I work my butt off the next day to do damage control.0 -
I had a full blown planned indulgance starting 21st January - i was on a 4 day bender! lol!
First it was birthday cakes that i brought in (even had a healthy option of fruit but i thought what the hell).. had a couple of cookies and a muffin...
Then Friday Night came along (the night of my party) I dont even want to know how many cals i consumed via alcohol, but i know it was a lot seeing as i cant remember much of the night! D'oh!!!
Saturday came - i was hungry and had a massive breakfast, but then i was sick cause of the hangover.. spent the rest of the day grazing on chips n dips, birthday cake and choccies...
Sunday was my last day of appreciating bad foods... just lots of sugar was consumed!
Thank god its monday and im away from temptations at work! Woo hoo...
Next sunday (family celebrations for my 21st) will be another planned blowout!! :-D yey!0 -
Girl I had Olive Garden on Saturday with 2 margaritas, 2 jolly ranchers and a shot of patron and weighed in 2 lbs lighter...it's all good. We all have cheat days and if you know ahead of time you are having a cheat day, you can work it all out a week beforehand. Don't feel bad, we all have bad days. Keep moving.0
