43 and ready to roll, again, help me help me

Good morning, and happy Sunday to all. This is actually my second week, but since I only did what I needed to do for part of last week, I am going to call this upcoming week my first week. Long story short, I struggle with my weight, I am 50 or so pounds overweight (will find out tomorrow when I step on the scale), and have been on a bunch of diets none of which have been successful. The diets have failed because I tend to go off diet, then think to trick myself into thinking that since I am off, I might as well be off, then I binge and start getting lazy.

I have an 8 and 4 year old, that I cherish and want to be a good example for. So, I am going to do something radical for me: going to learn how to eat, what to eat, and give myself time to heal (as there is clearly an emotional component to my problem) and get back on track. I'd appreciate anyone joining my team, as I need it.
