I once made the mistake of eating something I assumed wouldn't be too bad, only to find out that I had gone way over my calorie goal because it was worse than I thought. Since then, I've gotten into the habit of looking up calorie information before I put things in my mouth. This helps to make a more educated decision and to stay where I want to be with my calories. I think the mfp database is off on this one. Check out these three site that all give a breast of lamb 250-350 calories depending on size.

That's half of why I'm giving up red meat and pork, the high calories...that and I really don't like red meat. I got into eating it cause my bf always makes it.0

I don't always do it, but I try to plan ahead and check what I am going to eat vs. finding out the hard way. Been there done that even as late as this past week. Strawberry Pretzel Salad SUNK me for an entire day.0
