ok i know you can`t spot reduce... I am almost at my goal, 4 lbs away and i can see the muscle definition a lot more now since i upped my weights to 10 lbs while doing 30ds and rin30. what else can i do to reduce the inches off it as they are toning up nicely...

If you're already strength training, the best thing to reduce inches is just to combine that with cardio and watching your calorie intake. It will take time and patience. Congrats on your success!0

thx. so basically keep doing what i am doing... I was just wondering what if i get to my goal and it`s still the same, then what...considering i am only 4 lbs away.... the strength i am doing is in 30ds and rin30. i do the dvd 3-4 days a week and then i try 1or 2 other days to just do those strength moves on their own in 3 sets of about 10 reps on their own with no cardio.0

I have enormous arms - bleh. At this point in my journey, they are proportional at least. When I say that, I mean that if I buy a shirt that fits my torso, it also fits my arms. This was not always the case. I have found that my arms slim down most when I am swimming regularly. When my cardio routine doesn't include swimming, my arm fat is very stubborn (even if I am lifting heavy on strength days).0

Well, 4 pounds of fat may not necessarily come from your arms. Also, lots of people get to their goal weight and still have work to do. My arms are bothering me, too. It's frustrating that everything else is tightening up, and there is a very deliberate dip right under my triceps. What can I do, except keep on keeping on?
So yes, keep doing what you're doing. Once you reach your goal, all that hard work will help you maintain as well.0 -
i know there will be still work to do once i reach my goal that is why i am asking now.... i would like at least 1 inch off each arm but 2 would be best! if there was something else that i am not doing now or will need to do for that area, i want to know0

"Muscle definition" is not something you add but instead something you reveal once you subtract fat. You can do two things to change the "look" of a muscle: 1. make it bigger by stimulating growth (very hard to do for women) and 2. get rid of the surrounding fat (this will happen in a genetically preprogrammed order) to reveal what's underneath it.0
