Want to know the secret to weight loss?.........
There is no SECRET..
“There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.” -Colin Powell
As I approach the end of my first round of P90X I am bombarded with questions about what I am doing and how I am losing so much weight. Much to people’s dismay, I tell them I am just eating healthy and working out an hour a day. “It must be something more than that!” One man proclaimed.
When I think about today’s attitudes towards success I am surprised at how many people think that it is something that can be achieved with little effort or in a short period of time. In today’s day and age people have been conditioned to want results and want them fast! While you can ACHIEVE incredible, mind blowing results you will have to WORK for them!
The KEY to success is consistency!
While there is no SECRET to success there are things that must be done in order to achieve great things. These things are well known but not always executed consistently. You must have proper nutrition, rest, and you must bring the intensity during your workouts. When I am through with this first round I KNOW I will make heads turn and jaws drop!!! I will be able to say “I achieved this wonderful body with no miracle pills or magical training routines. I just put in the work and followed the plan for 90 days.”
