hello.....fairly new to MFP...

...but loving it so far. today i participated in my first challenge, The Dark Knight, & made Joker status by burning 1000 calories today. i would love to participate in more challenges since they obviously get me going.
i am not new to fitness. as a matter of fact i am a certified yoga teacher, but 3 years ago i stopped working & enjoyed being a
stay-at-home mother. consequently i gained around 50 pounds. my high was 202.5 lbs & i am now at 176 lbs. i would like to lose another 36 lbs. i am a single-mother, just turned 50 & very "artsy-craftsy". would love to make like-minded friends on here to share workout info, recipes & to participate in challenges with. send me a FR please!!!! :blushing: :flowerforyou:

  • 1000 calories..don't know if I can match that! I'm the same weight as you, and also am aiming for 35 pd. loss. I need ALL the motivation I can get. Sending you a friend request now.
