Six months of MFP!

A few silly personal victories today -
Six months on MFP and I have logged every meal every day - even when traveling extensively overseas.
I've made made calorie goals every week!
I made my hoped for weight loss goal (18 pounds) and my ambitious weight loss goal (23 pounds). And I am now at -24 as of this morning and planning for another 14 pounds, which will get me back to my slim college graduation weight. I feel stupid for not loggng earlier - this has required discipline but it hasn't been hard.
I feel empowered - something I never thought weight loss would make me feel. I was lucky and never needed to watch my weight until I was almost 40. At 53 this is the first time I have ever tried to lose. I am hoping and praying that once I get this weight off, it will STAY off. That is the next challenge.

That's great! I agree that this is one of the easiest ways to lose....I feel like I eat all the time, and I have lost over 25 pounds....:drinker:0
