Ive definitely hit a rut in my workouts. Ive been doing the same routine for about two months now and no mater how hard i train, Im seeing no difference. What do I do? I heard that its good to take a week off from lifting and start a new routine after but I dont want to sit on my butt for a week.

Our muscles (and body as a whole) gets used to workouts. You need to switch it up. Do something different each day. That's the best way to keep your metabolism going.0

And no... I wouldn't take a week off. Maybe a day or two... but not a week. Just start switching up your exercises.0

What is your workout program now?
- what exercise (running, elliptical, cycling, etc)
- how long do you do it?
- how often do you do it?
- what intervals do you do? (how long, how many, how much recovery), etc.)
- how long have you been doing it?0
