Carbs Minus Fibre

I don't think this program takes fibre into consideration, does it? I am diabetic and I carb count to figure out how much insulin to take. For instance if a piece of bread has 20carbs and 5 fibre, then I minus the fibre from the carb and take insulin for 15g of carbs. So if the program isn't taking fibre into consideration then really we aren't ingesting as many carbs as the program says. Fibre goes in and out. Fibre is not turned into sugar (fuel).

no it doesnt count net carbs... it counts fiber and carbohydrates but i do wish it counted net carbohydrates that way broccoli and spinach dont cut into my carb amounts.

Ya I would be nice if it did give net carbs. that way I could base my insulin dosage off the total amount of carbs. Oh well.

I changed my settings to show fiber alongside my carbs. That way you can just look and subtract.. but it is very annoying to see veggies bumping up the carb count!
