Quinoa anyone?

I just bought a bag and have a rice cooker.. It came out kinda plain any sug gestions? Is it actually the wonderfood everyone claoms it is?

Use chicken stock instead of water to cook it in. Add black beans, corn, chopped veggies (peppers, onions, etc) and toss with your fav italian dressing. Makes a really good cold salad.
Or use it like hot cereal, add banana, flax seed, berries, milk if you want.0 -
I love quinoa. If it says to rinse it well, make sure you do.

No, it's not a wonder food. But it is a healthy food. Season it just as you would rice. It also makes a good salad - just mix with chopped vegetables of your choice and dress with vinaigrette. And it's a good alternative to bulgar wheat when making tabouleh. Or substitute it for rice in most recipes.0
