Lifting Calories

I am going to start NRoLFW after work today and was wondering how to catergoize the calories burned. I know they are less than with cardio, but I didn't know if the "Strength Training" one under cardio would be good or not. I don't have an HRM so I can't use that.

Since the book suggests eating approximately 300 more calories on lifting days that's how I log it, as a fixed number of 300 calories. I eat around 1600 on non-lifting days, and up to 1900 on lifting days. I do use a hrm and from my warm-up until cool down I do actually burn around that many calories, except for stage 1. The interval training in stage 2 and 3 have my calories closer to 300-400 per workout.0

an HRM wouldn't be accurate even if you had one. It's basically a best guess.
I put 500/hr, because that's how much extra food i -want- to eat for it.0
