Hey, all my current friends on here are great and motivate me daily when i see their status and the activities they have been getting up to. I'd like to add more friends to help keep my motivation up over the winter (especially the festive period, my favourite time of year!) and beyond and I will hopefully help motivate others too.

Whether a newbie or been here ages, I would like to be friends with anyone who is trying their best to be active and healthy.

I joined mfp in Aug 2011 and lost 50lb pretty quickly. Over the last 9 months or so i've been maintaining and increasing my physical activity. I have about 20lb left to lose and am doing this slowly whilst increasing my fitness. I run and/or cycle a few times a week and do a timed 5k every saturday. In the new year I will begin training for my first triathlon. I have signed up for 10k's, a half marathon and 2 triathlons.
