Favorite Beers and Least Favorite Beers
Since I'm not going anywhere for a while because of Sandy, I'm hunkered down with a 12 pack of Stella Artois. I wish I picked up some more variety.
So what's your favorite beer?
Most Favorites:
Guinness
Sam Adams
Sam Adams October
New Castle
Stella Artois <--- Just because I like telling the bartender to give me a Stella.
Sapporo
Least favorite:
Heineken
St Ides <--- I went through an Ice Cube phase.
Corona <--- because it tastes like water.

Beer! My favorite drink!
Hard to truly pick a fav though. I love IPAs and red ales.
I Love Red Hook, Smithwicks, Tower 10, Sam Adams has a bunch of great brews...
Anything made by New Belgium is good. Seriously, if you can find any where you are....
But basiclaly I love super hoppy bubbly beers.
Sounds like you are on the East Coast?
It's odd how hard it is to get beers from just a couple states over..
I recently drove to LA from Chicago and found many more beers to love that I can't find here!
Least Favorites:
Any Macro Brew. (Bud, Miller, etc) Yick.
Heinekin tatses like salt =D
Harp, Bass, Stella, Corona
Cheers!0 -
My favorite beer of the fall season is any pumpkin beer!
My favorite pumpkin beer, though is Southern Tier Pumpking beer. It is soooooooooooooo delicious. It's like eating a slice of pumpkin spice bread. The only downside is that its like 300 calories PER BEER.
Ridiculous... but so worth it.0 -
Ooo I haven't had a pumpkin beer in a long time!
Have not heard of Southern Tier. I think I used to buy Shipyard. Or Shipwreck.. something like that0 -
Love me some Fat Tire and Sierra Nevada0

My absolute all-time favorite is Erdinger Hefeweissen. These I can drink all night long, even room temp!
Next choice would be Franziskaner followed by Bitburger and Budvar 12%. (Don't particularly care for the flavor of Bitburger so much as I always am in good company when it is served.)
My least favorites is the pseudo-beer known as Budweiser0 -

Stone Arrogant *kitten*
Avery's White Rascal

For the most part, the washed out mass-produced stuff. Go to dinner with me and you'll hear me ask "What do you have on tap that doesn't have the words "Bud," "Coors," "Mich" or "Light" in it?" These two stand out far and beyond that other garbage, tho:
Bud Select (only beer that I've ever actually gotten hung over on. And all I drank was 2!!)
Yeung Ling Light (the normal stuff isn't so bad. Not worth saving the 30 calories. The Light stuff was rancid)0 -
Favorite - Peroni (Italian beer) because it goes so well with pizza. I also like Stella so I can say "Stellaaaaaa" ala Marlon Brando.
Have to admit - Bud Select 55 - only 55 calories, not horrible. Always fits in my days calories. I'm a Texan, everyone here drinks Miller Lite. 1,000,000 teenagers can't be wrong.0 -
Favorite: Stella & Corona
Least favorite: Blue, Budweiser, Keiths0 -
For the New Englander in me: Pretty much anything Sam Adams
For the (used to be) college kid in me: Bud Light
For the beach bum in me: Sam Summer or Corona Light
For the fall foliage lover in me: Shipyard Pumpkinhead (WITH the cinnamon sugar rim)
Oh, and you can never go wrong with Stella Artois!0 -

Sam Adams Octoberfest. MMMMM.
Yuengling makes a pretty good Octoberfest as well.
But in the other months of the year, I like Yuengling light and Miller light- calorie friendly.
There's a local brewery that makes some pretty awesome micros- miss that about college. Lived right up the street.
Least favorite- anything Leinenkugel. It all tastes like burnt fruit-loops.
Also not a big fan of Guinness unless it's in a car bomb.
Mini beers are also pretty great, but not really beer....
Edit: Rolling Rock is now terrible since production left Pittsburgh. Also, anything Iron City tastes like a roll of nickles.

Big fan of a lot of local NC beers. Four Saints Stout One is by far my favorite so far. Mother Earth Brewing has an incredible belgian tripel. Tripel Overhead.
As far as other fantastic beers:
Delerium Tremens
Great Divide Yeti Stout
Hoppyum
Uinta Punk'n for a pumpkin beer. Blows sam adams/blue moon out of the water.
Victory Brewing Golden Monkey is fantastic too.
Beware, though.. if you try any of these, as they tend to taste like beer.0 -
