Alternative use for Hush Puppy Mix?

I have two packages of Martha White Onion Flavor Hush Puppy Just Add Milk mix that is set to expire. I want to use it, but don't necessarily want to fry it up. Does anyone know any recipes that I could use this in? Maybe some sort of chicken shake and bake? I saw this recipe for oven baked hush puppies, but I am not sure how the instant packs would fare - has anyone tried it?
