OK, so I am totally bragging here.
One of my non-number goals was to be able to do "crow pose" in yoga. It's a balancing posture that looks like this:

and this afternoon I actually did it. I didn't hold it for long, but holy crap. This is a pose I used to laugh hysterically at. . .I thought somewhere that it was impossible, and I was surprised that it worked. I've tried it a hundred times, and today, up I went.

oh, and p.s. in case you went to the link, rest assured I wore more clothes than that guy!

Seriously, way to go. I'm truly impressed as I know I can't do that right now.

Great job! I just added my old yoga practice into my exercise rountine again, and was bummed that I couldn't do the crow pose today (I used to), but you've given me encouragement that I'll WILL get there again!

I can't get to that position yet...I get the into the starting position with the knees on the arms but barely lift my toes of the floor and can't hold the balance.0 -

Type of one-sided crow or flying crow I believe. Flying crow has the legs going back though.
It is a more advanced version that the one-sided crow I'm working on

Yeah, the irony is that I got into yoga because I was looking for something more "mellow" and less "hard core" than my cardio workouts. Physically, it's the hardest thing I do in many respects.
