I've been using MyFitnessPal for a couple months now but I finally decided to join the online community (I mostly just use the app. I find it easier to use than the website anyway).
So..hi! I'm Rania. c: I live in Canadaland and enjoy video games, anime/manga, and other nerdy things.
Like the topic says, I'm 19 years old, over 200 pounds, and ready to fix that. I was teased all through school about my weight and it got to the point where I was feeling depressed all the time. I'd try to diet but it never worked out both because I wasn't doing it right and I didn't work hard enough, and I'd just end up frustrated and even more depressed.
A friend introduced me to MyFitnessPal and it's been super helpful so far. A month and a half into my diet and I've already lost 18 pounds. (It's probably more at this point. I've made a habit of only weighing myself every 2 weeks. I used to weigh myself every few days when I used to try and diet before and if I hadn't lost a single pound in that little time, I'd just give up. So now it's once every 2 weeks and it's been working great so far. I haven't weighed as much as I do now since before high school.)
