Has anyone tried the P.I.N.K Method? I recently watched it on the DR Phil show, he seems to think it works which is why he is probably promoting it. I want to know if has worked for anyone?

Sounds like a sound business plan! I'll work on the strength dvd, you work on the yoga/flexibility dvd, and we'll find one of the cardio junkies on my FL to work on the aerobics dvd. Sounds like a perfect task for Sarauk2sf!
We're gonna make a $hitload of $$$!!!
Edited to add: there isn't going to be a nutritional guide, because Bean isn't going to try to make it vegetarian and my head is going to explode.0 -
Ha ha! or YOU go for the Yoga DVD while I do some strength so I know what strength REALLY is and we can both muster up some cardio bunnies and go for a nice jog together.
We could call it, wait - I know, the PINK method! :bigsmile:0 -

Or the woman selling it is a friend of his sons which makes it more appealing. It's a concept of diet and exercise. Who knew that would work?0 -
I have a friend who lost her weight doing it, approx 60 pounds I think.0

I want to do the nutritional guide!!!0 -
My daughter in law did it and didn't really lose anything but then again she hasn't lost anything on the million other plans she tried either. There's nothing wrong with it except you're paying a lot of money for something you could easily accomplish on your own by following a food budget and exercising.0

Did she do it by eating better balanced nutrition and training smart? Did the PINK Method offer anything new to the already well established and proven method of my first sentence in this post? Always open to new ideas - if they are actually new ideas and not just "get rich quick" gimmicks.0

^^^ I second this.0 -
I tried it, I love the workout DVDs but the diet is too hard to stick too, and it's very low calorie. The "reset" phase is a detox where you eat only about 900 calories a day. That only lasts a week then you get about 1200 calories. I did it for 6 weeks and lost 20 pounds then gave up.
Personally I think there are better DVDs you could buy for much less money, and just count your calories here and be better off. If you did want to buy it, you can get a copy second hand and save a lot fo money0 -
OP, if you are looking for a program to follow, there are a lot that you could get for free on the Internet. Dr. Phil has a vested interest in the sales of that program, so I'm sure he's more than willing to promote it as "healthy" and "safe." I'm calling it out today as "crap."
Also, just the fact that the "K" in P.I.N.K. stands for "Kardio" makes me want to hurt people.0 -
How many different ways do people need to see "move more - eat less" dressed up?0

Dude, take from a lifelong marketing guy, that'll never sell. Not sexy enough.0 -

I think watching it on TV makes it seem like the ideal fitness DVD for women but you right, Dr Phil has promoted his daughter-in-law's fitness DVD a while back!0 -

There were ladies on the show that claimed to have lost a whole lot of weight in as little as 8 weeks. Dont' know how much of it is true though...0 -
