Step back from diabetes!

I just joined this morning. I'm 53, need to lose 30 lbs and get my sugar down. I'm not diabetic but I'm heading in the wrong direction and don't want the health problems that come with that disease.
I work 2 jobs, one in my home (managing a business) and one as a temp. I have 2 teenage sons, one of whom I MIGHT be able to get to walk/run with me. I LOVE pastries and baked foods, that is totally my downfall. I also eat for stress reduction...which is all the time. I don't smoke (quit in 1988), don't drink (1986), so I have come to see food as my 'permitted vice'.
I'd love to have some motivation buddies!

    Soo awesome that you want to change your lifestyle before you are headed in the wrong direction. That shows you really care about yourself/family. That is also awesome that you quit smoking and drinking! Good job with that! I'm very motivational and supportive and I will hold you accountable for pushing yourself to lose this weight!
