    I love to eat & DRINK things that I'm not supposed to..... I figure, as long as you "burn it off" and still at a calorie deficit.... You'll still be loosing. =)

    I am new, just joined today.
    I am with you, I don't do the whole healthy eating thing 24/7. I do try to eat healthy and low carb, BUT PASTA AND BREAD are my FAV! So I work out, and eat healthy 60-70% of the time so that I can enjoy my favorites and the occasional BAR FOOD!! (YUM)

    I am 43, raised both my children, and want to stay active and healthy so I can enjoy the second half of my life and look good doing it.

    So cheers to a almost completely healthy lifestyle and enjoying some of the bad stuff! :happy:

    I'm definitely just eating less that I used to and trying to eat more healthy things. I cannot give up caffeine, I enjoy my coffee everyday and my soda occasionally. I haven't lost much weight, and I am not trying to loose much. I am just trying to tone up and not gain.

    I don't think I could lead that strict, only water, way too healthy lifestyle. I'm disciplined, but not that disciplined!

    Me! Pick me! Nothing is off the table for me. If there is something I really want I have it. I am not into dieting. I hate diet food. I don't do low carb or low fat. I eat healthy nutritious food with the occasional treat.

  • I toally agree with your style of "not dieting"! I am doing the same thing - eating healthier, but not giving up my favorite foods/ drinks. I'm sure we can get healthier without feeling deprived. Friend me! roseoquendo

  • I am the same way as well! Although my profile says 10 lbs lost, I lost 36 before I started on MFP. I changed my eating habits, yes, but I never have considered (and never will consider) myself on a "diet". I make better choices...but if I want a cheeseburger and a beer....I'm gonna have a cheeseburger and a beer!! I'm originally from Wisconsin - beer and cheese is in my blood :)

    Send you a FR, I fully agree. I am mostly eat 'clean food' but will indulge myself in things I really like once in a while and this includes going out and having a nice dinner and a class of wine or two with friends.

    Totally agree. I have my days when I eat out, eat fried, and drink diet sodas. I also work my butt off in the gym, fit in work out sessions with a newborn and 4 year old, and try to be as active as possible while working from home. I'll probably never conform to strict anything, and I'm perfectly happy with that. :)

    Feel free to add me, anyone! I log daily (before I consume each meal), whine daily, and cheer my people on. I love motivation, and love to help motivate when I can.
  • Agreed!!! Everything is ok to eat, there's no need to label certain foods as "bad." Everything in moderation, and if you slip up, it's ok because tomorrow is a brand new start. I totally agree with this type of thinking and think that far too many people have it in their heads that the less you eat, the faster you'll lose weight, when that is not true at all. Also, the term diet implies something that you stop after a period of time. Eating healthier and working out is a lifestyle change, not some fad diet that will help you lose weight in the short run but not be sustainable over the long run.

    I would also love some like-minded thinkers as friends! :)

    Ah, I'm on the same boat! Nothing against my altruistic foodie friends who swear up and down about "clean" eating, but danggit, I grew up eating gummy worms, milkshakes, and cookies! I wanna still be able to enjoy my favorite childhood goodies as an adult! (in moderation, yes!)
    I do love my sugar! >///< hahaha!
    I need more friends to be accountable to, my whole schema right now is CONSISTENCY!!! hahaha I'm everywhere with my calories >.<;

  • Couldn’t have said it better myself. :) I want to be healthy and do things I can maintain from now on and eating all organic or not eating any carbs isn’t going to work. Anybody feel free to add me.
