Food prep exercise?

I noticed that cooking/food prep is listed as exercise...do people really count that towards exercise or is that just part of normal daily activity. I spent a lot of time cooking today (cooked my food for the whole week and then some to freeze) and the amount of calories it says I burned would make me have to eat A LOT more calories...too late now since it is almost midnight but I just thought I would ask and see what other people do...

If it's something out of the ordinary, I'd add it.
Being that it's so late, I wouldn't eat those calories.

Unless you are breaking a sweat or you heart rate is elevated, I wouldn't count them as exercise. Good luck!0

Well, I did break a sweat but probably more from the heat of the oven! haha! I was pretty tired at the end of it...pretty much spent 7 hrs straight cooking...whew! but, I have lots of great food that is ready to just pop in the oven or microwave and eat!! Thanks for your input everyone!0
