Toss up between _Rocky Horror Picture Show_ _Pulp Fiction_ and _Princess Bride_

But prolly _Princess Bride_ as #1, since I can watch it repeatedly for days, the other two not quite that much.

ETA -- Oh God no...my #1 is _Blade Runner_ "She'll die you know. Then again, we all do." Best LINE ever, IMO.

    Also, Guitar Wolf was fun.

Now if this thread wasn't limited to film, I would say Lexx all the way.

I can't believe Better Off Dead isn't getting more love. That movie is great! I want my two dollars!

I forgot to list The Gods Must Be Crazy. Another great movie.

I love Better Off Dead. I don't consider it a cult film. I consider it a classic 80s comedy.

The Gods Must Be Crazy....not a cult film. Just an under-rated gem of a film. No one is going to theaters/conventions dressing like anyone from that film.

    "Better of Dead"

Feautures a young John Cusak who plays "Lane Meyer" a guy that gets dumped by his girlfriend "Beth"

Supporting characters: a goth paperboy who is obsessed with collecting the $2.00 that is owed to him
two Japanese taxi drivers that talk like Howard Cosell and drag race Lane troughout the show
a kid brother that is secretly building a space shuttle in his room
a French exchange student (Lane's love interest)
the girfriend who dumps him and is now obessed with the new stud in town
Actor Curtis Armstrong (Better know as Booger in the nerd Movies) as Lane's sidekick
Neighbor Rickey a nasal mist snorting pervert and his Mom
The guy that played Porky in the Porkys movies makes a cameo as Lane's boss
Lane's mom who is a terrible cook
Lane's dad that can't relate to him but tries
    And many others

Crazy movie, silly, and very funny! Rent it tonite! :)

How is nobody mentioning Repo! The Genetic Opera!? I mean seriously. That + Rocky Horror are some legitimate cult films.

Most of these aren't even close..

What? Breakfast Club isn't cult? It only made $700 billion.

I didn't pinpoint that specific one as not being a 'cult classic', so I'm really not sure where you got that from. I said MOST of the many, many films being listed here are not cult classics.

    I did!

    Apparently I'm blind lol
I skimmed through the pages because I really expected it to consist of mostly those two movies. Not nearly enough people have seen Repo!

Points to you for actually seeing it
