Advice!!

It seems that I don't have a lot of motivational friends here on MFP, so I get discouraged rather quickly then I feel better when I go into the success stories and see everyone who's been doing such a good job. Everyone is so kind and supportive of each other's weight loss. Congrats to all of you who are reaching your goal weight and beyond! (Not even goal weights, but living a healthier, more active life style!)

I've been on MFP for a while and had a relapse. I'm 5'4.5" (that half inch is VERY important). I was down to 131 lbs for about a year and a half, and had a relapse where I went up to 143 lbs. My starting weight was 171 lbs. about 4 years ago. I'm working my way back down, albeit extremely slowly. I am at 139.8 as of today's date. I've been doing Nutrisystem for about a month and have another month on the way. I really like it, the food is really good and it fills me up. My goal weight loss is about 15-25 lbs. I feel like I have the diet thing down, eating the right portions, healthy foods, etc. I know I need to exercise more, but I just can't bring myself to do it. I know everyone says find something you enjoy and stick with it, but I just can't seem to get motivated. I'm not INACTIVE, but I know I need to step it up a bit. Also, I've heard a lot of people say when they bumped up their calories a bit, the weight started coming off. I've been sticking to 1200-1400 per day.

So if anyone has had success in losing the amount of weight I need to lose, or if you just want to share your routine, I'm open to hearing any suggestions.

Keep up the good work everyone!

You don't need to exercise to lose weight...caloric deficit is the most important thing.

It is very important for overall fitness, however. I suggest you take some walks - good calorie burns without major amounts of effort. Do you have dogs to walk? That is how i started...
