Need help Figuring Out Calories

For lunch today I had a med/large soft pretzel no salt with just over 1/3 cup Nachos cheese, however I got it from the small deli area on my school campus and there is no nutrition info available. When I search my fitness pal I see a WIDE range of soft pretzels with calorie values from over 400 to under 200. How would I "accurately" enter this????

You said medium/large, so I'd go with a medium/higher estimate.

You said medium/large, so I'd go with a medium/higher estimate.

The other thing is on mfp most of them just say soft pretzel so I don't know if that counts salt or other seasoning and/or cheese of if I should put that in separate and there they all range from 438-160 with maybe a few 200-somethings in the middle.
  • I'd log a medium/large pretzel and log the cheese separate as well. You can just look up nacho cheese sauce, canned and it should come up.

It doesn't "really" matter in the long run. ALL calorie counts are ESTIMATES, all calorie needs are ESTIMATES. All calorie burns are ESTIMATES. You can't really eat down to the calorie, you need to eat less and burn more over a period of time to make a difference. If it's medium/large count it as the maximum count you find and then if it's wrong, you're just under by a little, which helps your efforts. I would only be concerned if you were eating them every single day and needing a more accurate count. In which case, you already know eating those every day isn't in your best weightloss interest.

    Don't sweat the small stuff.

    And, it's all small stuff.
