So.. just out of curiosity, what do y'all think is a healthy/good amount of weight to lose in 30 days? I see a lot of people who are doing Insanity and 30 DS who lose about 3-6 pounds on the systems and feel like personally, I should be losing a lot more with a consistent program like that. I lose about 5-7 pounds a month with diet alone.. so just curious what is healthy/normal for someone who is working out 5-6 days a week, eating healthy? And please don't think that I think 3-6 pounds is nothing. Most of y'all are losing tons of inches which is awesome!

I am lucky to lose 4 lbs in 30 days.... :( wish I would/could lose more. Depends on metabolism and lifestyle I suppose.

Everyone will get different results from the same programs. On p90x I lost 13lbs while my friend lost 27lbs we were the same weight starting out. So his diet kicked my diets behind. I personally would say 5-8lbs in 30 is pretty solid if you are also improving your fitness level.

If you have a lot to lose (if you're just starting out or are very heavy), I would say that losing 10lbs in 30 days isn't unreasonable. If you're just overweight, I agree that 5-8 lbs would be a good goal.
