    Yes,
I never used to be. In fact I was always too warm.
Now my patients complain my hands are cold, all the time.

I am constantly freezing! I've lost 50 pounds so I have lost all of my insulation. At first I thought it was just my anemia, but my doctor says I have that under control, so it must just be my lack of fat.

Yes, fat is a good insulator. Look at the Eskimos!
  • I can never seem to warm up. Oh how I miss the 100 degree days here in the Deep South!

Not uncommon. Body fat is an insulator; strip the body fat and you have less insulation. Therefore, you tend to be colder.

I'm 50 pounds lighter than last winter...I think my body is in shock.
I actually left the heat on the whole way home, which is something I never would have done.

I seem to be one of the few people who didn't experience this when losing weight...when I was growing up, thin, I was always really cold and had poor circulation in hands and feet...when I gained a lot of weight, I still felt cold all the time, and now that I've lost most of the weight, I still feel colder than most people and have poor circulation. Who knows?
