Hello everyone,

My name is Crystal and I have pustule and papule rosecea, I have had it since I was a teen and it has gotten worse over the years. I have a bad habit of not sticking with a regimen on my skin. Putting a bunch of stuff on my skin just drives me crazy but looking at my face drives me crazy more. My fiance gets upset and mad at me when I don't want to go outside or into a store because my face is flared up. I feel like everyone is staring at me and wondering why I don't wash my face or something. Not many people know how I feel and I can barely get them to believe me. I'm lucky to find someone who loves me for me and not my face cause I feel so ugly with this on it. I'm going to the dermatologist tomorrow going to try and see if there is any support groups around my area for this matter, I just need someone to talk to and listen to what I have to say and not judge me. Now I'm also going through this weight loss journey basically alone which is hard. But, I remembered when I lost weight before my face got better and little bit. I just want this gone :( Thanks to who ever reads my vent and expression. Anyone can add me if he or she wants.

Rosacea can be such a pain! I've had it for years and did topical gels for awhile but they didn't seem to help a whole lot and then I lost my insurance so there you go. :) I don't know if you've looked over your diet and removed things that aggravate it but if you haven't it's a good idea. Stimulants are the biggest thing; caffeine, alcohol, spicy foods that cause you to flush, etc. can all cause me a flare up. Drinking green smoothies has help IMMENSELY! All that fresh fruit and vegetables has done wonderful things for my skin. I am also very picky about what I put on my skin otherwise I have eruptions. For moisturizing I use organic coconut oil or a lotion that I make out of coconut oil, cocoa or shea butter, vitamin E oil and a little bit of essential oils in a scent that I like. I also only use mineral makeup that has no talc in it.

Good luck. I hope you get some relief soon!
