Hi all! What is healthier, vegetable oil or canola? I am making pancakes - is there a better option maybe?

Some people use applesauce instead of oil0

the healthiest oils are those high in monosauturted fats and omega fatty acids
canola, olive and almond oil (almond can be used at high temperatures for cooking) - they will all add a different taste...0 -
I am a BIG fan of coconut oil - I don't use vegetable/canola anymore. I use really good olive oil (Columela) for salad dressings. I use palm shortening for baking. Google the health benefits of coconut oil and palm shortening. Also, look at "Tropical Traditions" website for great sales and great insight.
