Polar HRM Battery Question

When the battery goes in the chest strap, does it just go all at once or does it 'act up' for a bit first? Mine has been acting crazy for about 2 weeks. Yesterday it said my HR was 49 and it was stuck there. I turned it off- the only way I can make it reset- and it said my HR was 209 and stuck there. Next time I turned it on it wouldn't register a HR at all. Turned it off again and it was fine after that.

Worked out today for over 2 hours without a hitch. It seems to come and go. Some days I have to turn it on and off 5 or 6 times til it decides to cooperate.

I love my F6.... but it's gettin' on my nerves! I haven't had it for quite a year yet, but I think I must be getting close and I use it almost every day for at least an hour, usually longer. Oh, I also wet the sensors before I put it on and I sweat a lot, so it's not a connection issue.

Anyway, just wondering about the battery.

I have only had my f6 for about 7 months and I have no trouble, however I have seen people talk about it on here and it does seem to be the battery. Once they change it they are fine....hope that is it...I should be in the same boat soon.

Thanks, I haven't seen those conversations about the battery... but I was wondering.
