Halloween - a trick or a treat?

I've found that since I cut out a lot of the empty sugar based carbs from my diet, I don't crave sweet stuff at all. The sweets we have in the bowl here are for the kids who trick or treat, not for me.0

When I would go 'guising' as a child we always expected either apples or nuts as our treat. If very lucky someone would give money.Perhaps because of this I never think of halloween as being a problem where sweets are concerned.I can understand why it might be a temptation but thankfully the candy bowl hasn't caught on in Scotland. We have enough problems with deep fried Mars Bars!0
