i go to http://p90xcalories.com/ and put my workout in there and fill out my info. It shows for shoulders/arms and ab ripper x i would burn 450 cals. But how do i add that to myftinesspal as under strength training i can only come up 226 cals since it has to generate it by reps.

Get yourself a heart rate monitor with a chest strap (like the Polar FT4 or FT7), wear it while you workout and it will tell you with accuracy what your calories burned it. They cost about $50-90

I log mine as "Calisthenics" and then override the MFP default calorie count; then I note what I did, intensity, etc., in the Exercise Notes sections.
